KG groups were started in the name of Sri Laxmi Feeds in the year of 1980.
We started our own poultry farm in 1988 with 400 birds.
We shifted to our farm to hi-tech farm in the 2001 with 20,000 in each batch. Presently we are having 1Lakh bird’s layer.
In 2002 we start our own outlet at Hosur in the name of kg broilers and eggs in our own building with 1700 square feet in Hosur. In that outlet we marketing our poultry farm eggs and live broiler bird and dressed chicken in wholesale and retail.
In 2005 we started another branch in Hosur.
In 2007 we started our own feed mill in the name of the KG Animal Feed mill to manufacture layer feed & broiler feed.
In 2013 we separated our KG broilers & eggs to form a new division exclusive satisfaction of our retail customer, we started in the name of the KG Meet Mart (A/c) on the first floor in the same building it is highly sophisticated and as per the government meet process norms. In KG Meat Mart we added new products like sea food, mutton, rich selenium eggs and ready to eat chicken along with existing products. We also set up a Semi-Automatic Poultry dressing plant to increase the production quantity to 3000 birds per day in hygiene standards.
Future Plan
We planned to open another two retail shop in Salem and Dharmapuri in near future.
